Responsibilities

Castalia Systems is seeking a Cybersecurity Compliance Analyst in the Camp Smith, HI area.

 

A Cybersecurity Compliance Analyst will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with cybersecurity standards and directives within the Command and Control Communications and Cyber directorate (J683). This position focuses on evaluating, tracking, and reporting compliance for HQ USINDOPACOM, subordinate units, and Direct Reporting Units (DRUs). The goal is to maintain cybersecurity accountability, visibility, and posture management in support of USINDOPACOM's mission.

 

A qualified candidate will perform the following duties and responsibilities, but are not limited to:

  • Evaluate DoD Directives to validate and report compliance status for HQ USINDOPACOM, subordinate units, and DRUs.
  • Obtain Plans of Action and Milestones (POAM) from established repositories and conduct risk analyses using Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) and Continuous Monitoring Risk Scoring (CMRS) to identify vulnerabilities, severity, and mitigations.
  • Track vulnerabilities across HQ USINDOPACOM, Subordinate Cmds, and DRUs, providing vulnerability reports to meet reporting requirements.
  • Perform vulnerability analysis based on intelligence reports and provide ongoing status updates using ACAS and CMRS.
  • Review cybersecurity compliance policies and recommend updates as necessary.
  • Coordinate and assist in preparing for cybersecurity inspections, audits, and assessments.
  • Conduct technical and procedural audits in accordance with system auth and annual security validations using evaluation tools and standards.
  • Collect and analyze monthly DOD Cyber Scorecard metrics.
  • Ensure accurate submissions and completion of Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M) items.
  • Administer the INDOPACOM workflow portion of the Defense CyberScope online web tool, consolidate information for scorecard submissions, and prepare executive summaries for HQ INDOPACOM leadership.

Qualifications

Security Clearance Requirement:

Active/current TS/SCI clearance is required.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma.
  • At least 3+ years of experience related to Cybersecurity, Information Technology as well as CND.
  • IAW DoDM 8410.03, must meet intermediate proficiency level.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office tools (Project, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio and Outlook).
  • IAM-II Certification.
